The ‘Chrimbo Limbo’ as some people refer to it as – the week between the Big Day and the Big Night, where no one seems to know what time it is let alone what day! Well, it’s a bit different for those of us working at the UK Holiday Group – along with many other tour operators – this is one of our busiest periods for each of our holiday brands so it’s crucial we stay focused.
We take 100’s of people away to enjoy a magical Christmas on one of our holidays, and then bring them safely home again before the New Year, so our operations department works 24/7, 365 days a year, making sure they know in advance of any traffic delays, or road closures so they can inform our Drivers on the road of any required diversions.
Then, once everyone is home safe and sound and well relaxed after their Christmas holiday, the operations team still don’t get a break, they get straight back on it making sure the 100’s of people we are taking away on holiday to enjoy New Year with us get their safely and then home again too.
So, you might not know what day of the week it is, or what time of the day it even is, but rest assured, we do, and we’re working hard to make sure all of our customers, no matter which of our brands they travelled with, have a fabulous holiday with us.
